Appointments are quick – typically 15 to 30 minutes depending on the area. We cleanse your skin, review your screening, protect your eyes, and choose settings and passes for your concern. You feel warmth as the laser works; most clients find it very tolerable even on sensitive areas.
Afterward, expect mild warmth or pinkness that usually settles within the hour. There is no peeling, no hiding at home, and no interruption to your day.
Aftercare
Keep it gentle and simple: broad-spectrum sunscreen daily, no intentional sun, and skip intense heat, saunas and strenuous workouts until any warmth has settled. Do not pick or scrub the area. Your regular routine can usually continue – we will tell you if anything specific should pause.
How many sessions will I need?
Aerolase works cumulatively – each session builds on the last, and your skin keeps improving between visits. As a guide:
- Acne: typically 3 to 6 sessions
- Rosacea and redness: 3 to 6 sessions
- Pigmentation: 4 to 8 sessions
- Skin rejuvenation: 3 or more

An honest word: what Aerolase is not
We do not call every concern a laser problem. If a facial, a peel, a microneedling plan, a home-care change or a medical referral makes more sense for your skin, we will say so. Indented acne scars, for example, often respond best to a combined plan with microneedling. The right answer is the one that works for your skin – not the one that uses the machine.
Combining Aerolase with other treatments

Is it safe for darker skin tones?

Is there really no downtime?

Is Aerolase the same as IPL?
No. The Neo Elite is a 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser. IPL uses a broad range of light wavelengths – a different technology with different strengths.
How soon will I see results?
Some changes, like calmer breakouts or reduced redness, can appear within days. Pigment, melasma and collagen goals build gradually over a series, and improvement continues for weeks after each session.
Can I combine it with other treatments?
